Having well trained, energetic and silly staff here at Crawmer’s is not taken lightly. The grueling process of becoming a teacher at our facility keeps our program upbeat and active. The faint of heart, timid and mild need not apply. Our teachers have the heart of a lion, the endurance of a work horse, listening ears like a rabbit and the patience of a saint. In addition to the normal hiring process, perspective staff each read a story with appropriate voicing, tell a short, student friendly, personal story. This and is all video taped for our board to review. It’s no walk in the park, but we feel your children deserve only the best and the brightest teachers for their early years.

Requirements for Teachers:
- Infant Child CPR
- First Aid
- Oregon Food Handlers Card
- Oregon Abuse and Neglect Prevention, 2 hr class
- Central Background Registry (through Oregon CCD)
- 1 year qualifying teaching experience OR
- 20 ECE College Credit hours in Early Childhood Ed
Requirements for Volunteers (15+hrs per year):
- Central Background Registry (through Oregon CCD)
